CVE-2022-4139 is a flaw in the Linux kernel i915 graphics driver affecting specific GPU engine types on Intel Gen12 integrated and discrete GPUs. Incorrect GPU TLB-flush handling can leave stale GPU virtual-memory translations after memory has been unmapped or reassigned. The stale mappings may allow a GPU workload to access memory no longer assigned to its process. Affected platforms include Tiger Lake, Rocket Lake, Alder Lake, DG1, Raptor Lake, DG2, Arctic Sound, and Meteor Lake.
