CVE-2022-47615 is a local file inclusion vulnerability affecting the LearnPress WordPress LMS Plugin in versions up to and including 4.1.7.3.2. The flaw allows application functionality to include local files in an unsafe manner, which can expose sensitive server-side resources and, depending on the surrounding application and server configuration, may be leveraged to execute attacker-controlled code through inclusion of unintended files.

This repository contains a proof-of-concept exploit for CVE-2022-47615, a Local File Inclusion (LFI) vulnerability in the LearnPress WordPress plugin (versions prior to 4.2.0). The repository consists of three files: a LICENSE file (GPLv3), a README.md with usage instructions and vulnerability description, and the main exploit script (exploit.py). The exploit script is written in Python and allows an unauthenticated attacker to retrieve arbitrary files from the server by abusing the 'template_path' parameter in the /wp-json/lp/v1/courses/archive-course REST endpoint. The script takes the target WordPress URL and the file path to retrieve as arguments, sends a crafted GET request, and prints the file contents if the exploit is successful. The exploit is a standalone script and does not belong to any framework. Its primary purpose is to demonstrate the LFI vulnerability and facilitate testing or verification of affected WordPress installations.
