The NetModule NSRW web administration interface contains an OS command injection vulnerability due to improper sanitization of user input. An authenticated user can supply crafted input that is incorporated into an OS command, allowing execution of arbitrary commands with elevated privileges. The vulnerability affects NSRW versions from 4.3.0.0 before 4.3.0.119, from 4.4.0.0 before 4.4.0.118, from 4.6.0.0 before 4.6.0.105, and from 4.7.0.0 before 4.7.0.103.

This repository contains a Python proof-of-concept exploit for CVE-2023-0861, a command injection vulnerability in the web management interface of NetModule industrial routers. The exploit requires an authenticated admin session (PHPSESSID) and targets the /admin/gnssAutoAlign.php endpoint, injecting a user-supplied shell command via the device_id parameter. The output of the injected command is redirected to a file (/home/www-data/admin/img/nothing.png) on the router, which is then retrieved and displayed to the attacker. The repository consists of a single exploit script (PoC-CVE-2023-0861.py) and a README describing the vulnerability and its context. The exploit demonstrates the ability to execute arbitrary commands on the router, but does not include advanced payloads or automation for obtaining credentials, making it a proof-of-concept.
