CVE-2023-1112 is a critical vulnerability in the Drag and Drop Multiple File Upload Contact Form 7 plugin for WordPress, version 5.0.6.1. The vulnerability exists in the handling of the 'upload_name' argument in the admin-ajax.php endpoint, which fails to properly sanitize user input. This allows an attacker to perform relative path traversal, potentially enabling the upload or manipulation of files outside the intended directory structure. The vulnerability is remotely exploitable and a public exploit is available.
