CVE-2023-24422 is a sandbox-bypass vulnerability in Jenkins Script Security Plugin versions 1228.vd93135a_2fb_25 and earlier. The plugin failed to intercept property assignments implicitly performed by the Groovy runtime during map-constructor invocation. Consequently, these assignments did not undergo the sandbox allowlist checks intended to constrain untrusted Groovy code, allowing a sandboxed script to escape those restrictions.
