CVE-2023-2533 is a cross-site request forgery vulnerability in PaperCut NG and PaperCut MF versions 21.2.0 through 22.0.12. A maliciously crafted link can cause a currently authenticated PaperCut administrator’s browser to issue unauthorized requests to the PaperCut application. Under specific conditions, those requests can alter security settings or lead to arbitrary code execution. The affected components are PaperCut core application and site servers; Direct Print Monitors, Mobility Print, Hive, Pocket, and MFD Embedded software are not affected.
