CVE-2023-29483, known as TuDoor, affects eventlet before 0.35.2 when used by dnspython before 2.6.0. An attacker can race a malformed or otherwise invalid DNS response that appears to originate from the queried DNS server, using the expected source IP address and UDP source port. The invalid packet causes dnspython's stub-resolution process to stop waiting prematurely instead of continuing through the complete resolution time window for a valid response, enabling interference with DNS resolution.
