CVE-2023-38890 is a SQL Injection vulnerability in Online Shopping Portal Project version 3.1. The login form fails to properly validate user-supplied input in the username field, allowing remote attackers to inject arbitrary SQL commands. This can lead to unauthorized access and manipulation of backend database data.

Repository contains a single Python exploit (CVE-2023-38890.py) plus a short README linking to a write-up and Exploit-DB entry. The exploit targets Online Shopping Portal 3.1 and chains an unauthenticated SQL injection login bypass against the admin login endpoint (/admin/) using username payload "' OR 1=1-- a" to obtain an authenticated session cookie. It then abuses the product insertion feature (/admin/insert-product.php) to upload a PHP webshell as three product image fields (productimage1/2/3) with a randomized 15-character filename ending in .php. After upload, it searches for the newly created product via /search-result.php and parses the returned HTML (data-echo="admin/productimages...") to reconstruct the final webshell URL under /admin/productimages/<derived_path><shellname>.php. The payload is a simple command-execution webshell triggered by the cmd query parameter, providing remote code execution on the web server.
