CVE-2023-40355 is a cross-site scripting vulnerability in Axigen affecting versions 10.3.3.0 before 10.3.3.59, 10.4.0 before 10.4.19, and 10.5.0 before 10.5.5. The issue is present in the logic used to switch between the Standard and Ajax versions of the application. An authenticated attacker can exploit this flaw to inject and execute arbitrary script code in a victim’s browser within the context of the Axigen web application. Based on the available description, the vulnerable component is the UI/version-switching logic rather than a separately identified function or endpoint.
