CVE-2023-45286 is a race condition in github.com/go-resty/resty/v2 that can disclose HTTP request bodies across otherwise unrelated requests. When retries are enabled and a retry occurs, the affected code can return the same bytes.Buffer to a package-scoped sync.Pool more than once. A subsequent pool retrieval can therefore yield a buffer that was not reset and still contains another request's body. go-resty appends the current request body to this residual content and transmits both bodies in a single HTTP request. Because the pool has package-level scope, the disclosed body can originate from requests intended for unrelated servers using the same process.
