CVE-2023-46218 is a curl cookie-domain validation flaw in Public Suffix List (PSL) handling. curl performs the PSL check with inconsistent case handling, allowing a malicious HTTP server to set a cookie for a public suffix using mixed-case domain input even when the requested host is lowercase. This bypass can cause curl to accept an improperly broad "super cookie" and return it on requests to unrelated origins within the affected domain scope.
