CVE-2023-50445 is a shell injection vulnerability affecting multiple GL.iNet router models and firmware versions, including A1300 v4.4.6, AX1800 v4.4.6, AXT1800 v4.4.6, MT3000 v4.4.6, MT2500 v4.4.6, MT6000 v4.5.0, MT1300 v4.3.7, MT300N-V2 v4.3.7, AR750S v4.3.7, AR750 v4.3.7, AR300M v4.3.7, and B1300 v4.3.7. The issue is present in the get_system_log and get_crash_log functions of the logread module and the upgrade_online function of the upgrade module. Insufficient neutralization of attacker-controlled input before it is incorporated into shell command execution allows a local attacker to inject shell metacharacters or crafted command content, resulting in arbitrary command execution on the device.

This repository contains a single Metasploit module (Ruby file) that exploits an unauthenticated remote command execution vulnerability (CVE-2023-50445) in multiple GL.iNet network devices. The exploit targets the JSON-RPC API exposed by the device's web management interface (typically at /rpc over HTTPS, port 443). It leverages a command injection flaw in the 'logread' module, specifically via the 'gl_system_log' and 'gl_crash_log' interfaces. The exploit can be used after obtaining a valid Admin-Token session ID (SID), which itself can be acquired by chaining with CVE-2023-50919 (authentication bypass via SQL injection). The module supports both direct command execution and deployment of Meterpreter reverse shells, with options for various architectures (MIPS, ARM, AARCH64). The code is weaponized, allowing for easy payload customization and reliable exploitation. The repository is structured as a single Metasploit module file, with all logic and payload handling contained within.
