A race-related error-handling flaw in the Linux kernel pcrypt AEAD path can cause a task to wait indefinitely when the padata instance enters PADATA_RESET during padata_do_parallel(). In this state, padata_do_parallel() returns -EBUSY without arranging for the AEAD completion callback. The caller treats the result as an asynchronous request and waits for completion, resulting in an unbounded wait. The upstream correction returns -EAGAIN for the reset condition, indicating that parallel data is changing and that the operation must be retried rather than awaited.
