CVE-2023-6915 is a NULL pointer dereference in the Linux kernel IDA allocator's ida_free function. If xas_load returns NULL, the bitmap variable remains NULL. The subsequent non-value branch can invoke test_bit against the bitmap member without validating that bitmap is non-NULL, resulting in a kernel NULL dereference. The vulnerable path can be reached during driver-release handling.
