CVE-2024-12729 is a post-authentication code injection vulnerability in the User Portal component of Sophos Firewall. It affects Sophos Firewall version 21.0 GA (21.0.0) and earlier, and was fixed in version 21.0 MR1 (21.0.1) and through vendor hotfixes for supported older branches. The flaw allows a remote authenticated attacker to inject commands or code through the User Portal and achieve remote code execution on the firewall.
