CVE-2024-21501 is an information-exposure vulnerability in sanitize-html versions before 2.12.1. When sanitize-html is used server-side and the HTML style attribute is permitted, crafted attacker-controlled HTML can cause disclosure sufficient to enumerate files on the server, including application dependencies. The resulting information reveals aspects of the server filesystem layout and installed dependency structure.
