CVE-2024-23733 affects the /WmAdmin/ and /invoke/vm.server/login login functionality in Software AG webMethods Integration Server 10.15.0 before Core_Fix7. The issue allows a remote attacker to submit an arbitrary username together with a blank password to the /WmAdmin/#/login/ URI and still reach the administration panel. From there, the attacker can discover system hostname and product version information. Based on the available description, the flaw is an authentication logic weakness that results in unauthorized exposure of administrative interface information rather than full authenticated administrative access being confirmed.
