CVE-2024-24791 is an expected-behavior violation in Go's net/http HTTP/1.1 client handling of requests that use the Expect: 100-continue header. When the server returns a non-informational response (status 200 or higher) rather than an informational response, the client can leave the connection in an invalid state. In net/http/httputil.ReverseProxy deployments, an attacker can send such requests to the proxy and cause a subsequent request that reuses each affected connection to fail.
