CVE-2024-26600 is a NULL pointer dereference in the Linux kernel TI OMAP USB2 PHY driver. During Session Request Protocol handling, phy-omap-usb2 can invoke the external PHY's send_srp() callback without first confirming that the callback is implemented. USB peripheral-only configurations may also lack set_vbus(). A wakeup event from an idle Ethernet USB gadget can reach this path and cause execution through a NULL function pointer. The upstream correction adds presence checks before invoking send_srp() and set_vbus().
