CVE-2024-26614 is a race condition in the Linux kernel TCP subsystem. Concurrent TCP receive-side request completion and socket shutdown/disconnect processing can cause the accept queue spinlocks to be initialized more than once. Reinitialization can corrupt a spinlock while it is in use by TCP request-queue handling, producing kernel lock-corruption warnings and invalid synchronization state.
