CVE-2024-26940 is a NULL pointer dereference in the Linux kernel DRM vmwgfx driver. The driver could create debugfs resource-manager entries even when their corresponding TTM resource-manager objects had not been allocated. Reading such an entry dereferenced the absent resource manager in the TTM debug display path and crashed the kernel. The fix conditionally creates each debugfs entry only when its associated resource manager exists.
