CVE-2024-27056 is a denial-of-service vulnerability in the Linux kernel iwlwifi MVM Wi-Fi driver. The resume path assumes that the transmit queue for the offloading traffic identifier (TID) has been configured and attempts to synchronize its write pointer, which firmware may have modified. If no traffic was sent using TID 0, the queue may never have been allocated. Resuming then dereferences the absent queue and crashes the kernel. The fix ensures that the offloading TID queue exists during suspend before it can be used during resume.
