A divide-by-zero vulnerability existed in the isd200 sub-driver of the Linux kernel's usb-storage module. The vulnerability was due to the use of ATA ID HEADS and SECTORS values in arithmetic operations (division and modulus) without validating that these values are non-zero. If a USB storage device (or an emulated device) reported a zero value for either HEADS or SECTORS, a divide-by-zero exception would occur in isd200_ata_command, potentially crashing the kernel. This issue was discovered via fuzzing with syzbot.
