CVE-2024-28834 is the Minerva cryptographic timing side-channel vulnerability in GnuTLS. Under specific reproducible-signature configurations, including use of GNUTLS_PRIVKEY_FLAG_REPRODUCIBLE, deterministic nonce processing can produce an observable size transition from 513 to 512 bits. The resulting variable-time behavior can leak information during private-key signing operations.
