CVE-2024-3495 is an SQL injection vulnerability in the Country State City Dropdown CF7 plugin for WordPress. Versions through 2.7.2 are affected. The flaw is caused by insufficient escaping of user-controlled input in the cnt and sid parameters and by failure to use adequate prepared statements in the associated SQL query construction. As a result, unauthenticated attackers can inject additional SQL syntax into existing database queries. Successful exploitation can be used to retrieve sensitive information from the WordPress database.

This repository provides a proof-of-concept (PoC) exploit for CVE-2024-3495, targeting the Country State City Dropdown CF7 WordPress plugin (versions <= 2.7.2). The exploit is implemented in Python (CVE-2024-3495.py) and automates an unauthenticated SQL injection attack against the plugin's AJAX endpoints. The script first retrieves a required nonce from the target site, then sends crafted POST requests to /wp-admin/admin-ajax.php with malicious 'cnt' or 'sid' parameters to extract the database name, MySQL version, and user. The README.md provides background, usage instructions, and example HTTP requests, as well as fingerprinting tips for identifying vulnerable sites. The exploit does not require authentication and is effective against any exposed and vulnerable instance of the plugin. The repository is structured simply, with one exploit script and a detailed README.
