CVE-2024-35195 affects Python Requests versions prior to 2.32.0. Within a Requests Session, an initial request to an origin made with certificate verification disabled can establish a pooled TLS connection whose unverified state is reused. Subsequent requests to the same host may continue without TLS certificate verification even when their verify setting enables verification. The behavior persists for the lifetime of the affected pooled connection.
