CVE-2024-35845 is an improper NUL-termination flaw in the Linux kernel Intel iwlwifi driver's debug-TLV handling. The iwl_fw_ini_debug_info_tlv data is subsequently used as a C string without first ensuring that it is NUL-terminated. The upstream correction ensures termination before the value is consumed as a string, preventing string-processing operations from reading past the intended TLV data.
