CVE-2024-35912 is a memory-management vulnerability in the Linux kernel's iwlwifi MVM RFI component. The command-response handling code fails to free the response when receive-payload length validation fails or when kmemdup() fails. These error paths leak allocated response memory. The fix ensures that the command response is freed on both failure paths.
