CVE-2024-35933 is a NULL pointer dereference in the Linux kernel Bluetooth Intel driver’s btintel_read_version path. When hci_cmd_sync_complete() is triggered with a NULL socket buffer, hdev->req_skb is NULL. Subsequent dereferencing of that request buffer in the version-read handling path can crash the kernel.
