CVE-2024-36005 is a flaw in the Linux kernel Netfilter nftables subsystem. During netdevice-release event handling, nf_tables did not honor a table's dormant flag and could attempt to unregister a Netfilter hook that had already been unregistered. This triggers a kernel warning in the Netfilter hook-unregistration path during network-namespace cleanup or network-device removal.
