CVE-2024-36007 is an improper state-reset flaw in the Linux kernel mlxsw Spectrum ACL TCAM rehash delayed-work path. Rehash migration iterates ACL chunks and their entries, saving both the current chunk and entry as resume markers when work credits are exhausted. On an error path, the chunk marker could be cleared without also clearing the entry marker associated with that chunk. A later rehash resume could therefore treat an entry from a different chunk as the current entry, eventually iterating a chunk structure as an entry and producing kernel warnings during ACL migration. The fix centralizes resetting of all rehash markers, uses it on relevant error and new-rehash paths, and adds a warning intended to detect invalid state.
