CVE-2024-36350, also known as Transient Scheduler Attack—Store Queue (TSA-SQ), is a transient-execution side-channel vulnerability affecting some AMD processors, including AMD Zen 3 and Zen 4 systems. Under specific microarchitectural timing conditions, the transient scheduler may speculatively retrieve stale data from the CPU store queue. An attacker can use observations of this transient behavior to infer data associated with previous store operations across privilege boundaries.
