CVE-2024-3656 is a privilege escalation vulnerability in Keycloak, an open-source identity and access management solution. Certain endpoints in Keycloak's admin REST API fail to properly enforce authorization, allowing low-privilege users to access administrative functionalities. This flaw enables users who should not have administrative rights to perform actions reserved for administrators, such as modifying system configurations or accessing sensitive data.
