CVE-2024-37371 is an out-of-bounds read vulnerability in MIT Kerberos 5 (krb5) GSS message-token handling before version 1.21.3. Improper processing of malformed message-token length fields can cause invalid memory reads. The issue also affects processing of GSS krb5 wrap tokens: manipulation of the plaintext Extra Count field can cause a receiving application to interpret an unwrapped token as truncated.
