CVE-2024-4041 is a reflected cross-site scripting (XSS) vulnerability in the Yoast SEO plugin for WordPress, affecting all versions up to and including 22.5. The vulnerability arises from insufficient input sanitization and output escaping in the handling of URLs, allowing unauthenticated attackers to inject arbitrary JavaScript or HTML into pages. The malicious code executes in the context of a victim's browser if the victim is tricked into clicking a crafted link.
