CVE-2024-41065 affects Linux kernel PowerPC pSeries dispatch trace log handling. When CONFIG_HARDENED_USERCOPY is enabled, dtl_file_read attempts to copy a dispatch trace log (DTL) SLUB object to userspace without a permitted usercopy range. Hardened usercopy validation rejects that operation and invokes usercopy_abort, resulting in a kernel BUG. The corrective change declares the full DTL object safe for userspace copying by configuring a usercopy range beginning at offset zero and spanning DISPATCH_LOG_BYTES.
