CVE-2024-42831 is a reflected cross-site scripting vulnerability in Elaine's Realtime CRM Automation v6.18.17. The issue is present in wrapper_dialog.php, where user-controlled input from the dialog parameter is reflected into the server response without sufficient sanitization or output encoding. An attacker can craft a malicious URL or request containing JavaScript payloads in the dialog parameter so that, when processed by the vulnerable page and rendered by a victim's browser, the injected script executes in the application's origin.
