This repository contains a Python proof-of-concept exploit for CVE-2024-43998, a missing authorization vulnerability in the Blogpoet WordPress theme (versions up to 1.0.3). The exploit script (CVE-2024-43998.py) first checks the target site's Blogpoet theme version by fetching /wp-content/themes/blogpoet/readme.txt. If the version is vulnerable, it sends a crafted POST request to /wp-admin/admin-ajax.php with the action blogpoet_install_and_activate_plugins, attempting to install and activate an arbitrary plugin (default: wordpress-seo) without proper authorization. The repository also includes a README.md with usage instructions and a description of the vulnerability. The exploit is network-based and targets WordPress sites running the vulnerable Blogpoet theme.
