CVE-2024-47252 is an insufficient log-output escaping vulnerability in mod_ssl in Apache HTTP Server 2.4.63 and earlier. When CustomLog uses the %{varname}x or %{varname}c format to record mod_ssl-provided variables, such as SSL_TLS_SNI, neither mod_log_config nor mod_ssl escapes client-controlled values. An untrusted SSL/TLS client can therefore inject escape characters into server log files.
