CVE-2024-53908 is a high-severity SQL injection vulnerability in Django's JSON-field HasKey lookup when used with an Oracle database. Django versions 4.2 before 4.2.17, 5.0 before 5.0.10, and 5.1 before 5.1.4 are affected. The flaw occurs only when django.db.models.fields.json.HasKey is invoked directly and attacker-controlled data is supplied as its left-hand-side value. Django applications using the jsonfield.has_key lookup through double-underscore lookup syntax are not affected.
