CVE-2024-57514 is a cross-site scripting (XSS) vulnerability in the TP-Link Archer A20 v3 router web interface, identified in firmware version 1.0.6 Build 20231011 rel.85717(5553). The issue is caused by improper handling and insufficient neutralization of directory listing path data rendered by the web UI. When a victim visits a specially crafted URL, the router interface reflects attacker-controlled input into the generated directory listing page and executes embedded JavaScript in the victim's browser. In practice, this is a reflected XSS condition in the administrative web interface that can allow script execution in the security context of the router's web application.
