CVE-2024-57980 is a double-free vulnerability in the Linux kernel media uvcvideo driver. When uvc_status_init() fails to allocate int_urb, it frees dev->status but does not clear the pointer. A later call to uvc_status_cleanup() can invoke kfree() on the stale pointer and free the same memory a second time.
