CVE-2024-58004 is a use-after-free condition in the Linux kernel Intel IPU6 media driver. On an error path, the driver could free memory associated with a CPU latency QoS request without first removing that request from the CPU latency QoS list. A subsequent QoS update can operate on the stale list entry, resulting in list corruption in the PM QoS subsystem.
