CVE-2024-58014 is an out-of-bounds read vulnerability in the Linux kernel Broadcom brcmsmac Wi-Fi driver. The flaw is in wlc_phy_iqcal_gainparams_nphy(), where insufficient validation of a gain value can permit an out-of-bounds access to the tbl_iqcal_gainparams_nphy table. The upstream correction adds gain-range validation to the function's WARN() condition before the table access.
