CVE-2024-6593 is an incorrect authorization vulnerability in WatchGuard Authentication Gateway, also known as the Single Sign-On Agent, on Windows. A flaw in the product's management communication path allows an attacker with network access to invoke management functionality that should be restricted. Successful exploitation can enable unauthorized execution of management commands against the agent, including retrieval of authenticated usernames and associated group memberships and modification of agent configuration. Available information indicates the issue affects the authorization controls governing access to management operations rather than exposing user credentials directly.

This repository contains a Python proof-of-concept exploit (wgclient.py) targeting multiple vulnerabilities (CVE-2024-6592, CVE-2024-6593, CVE-2024-6594) in the Watchguard SSO Agent. The script provides three main capabilities: (1) issuing arbitrary commands to the SSO client via its Telnet interface, (2) retrieving log files (which may include sensitive crash dumps), and (3) calculating authentication bypass secrets based on the agent's banner, allowing unauthorized access to the management interface. The exploit interacts with the SSO Agent over TCP (default port 4116), and requires the target's hostname or IP address. The repository consists of a single Python exploit script, a README with usage instructions and CVE references, and a license file. The exploit is a proof-of-concept and demonstrates the vulnerabilities without weaponization or automation for mass exploitation.
