CVE-2024-6633 is an insecure-default-credentials vulnerability in Fortra FileCatalyst Workflow 5.1.6 Build 139 and earlier. The bundled, deprecated HSQLDB installation database used publicly documented default credentials. Deployments that continued to use this database in production could permit an unauthenticated remote party able to reach the database service to authenticate using those credentials. Database access can be used to create a FileCatalyst Workflow web-application account with administrative privileges.
