CVE-2024-8672 is a remote code execution vulnerability in the Widget Options WordPress plugin (all versions up to and including 4.0.7). The vulnerability exists in the display logic functionality, which extends several page builders. The plugin allows user-supplied input to be passed directly to eval() without proper filtering or capability checks, enabling authenticated attackers with contributor-level access or higher to execute arbitrary code on the server.
