CVE-2024-9290 is a vulnerability in the Super Backup & Clone - Migrate for WordPress plugin, affecting all versions up to and including 2.3.3. The vulnerability exists due to missing file type validation and a missing capability check in the ibk_restore_migrate_check() function. This allows unauthenticated attackers to upload arbitrary files to the server, potentially leading to remote code execution.

This repository contains a Python 2.7 exploit script (CVE-2024-9290.py) and a README.md. The exploit targets WordPress sites running the vulnerable Super Backup & Clone plugin (CVE-2024-9290), which allows unauthenticated arbitrary file upload via the /wp-admin/admin-ajax.php endpoint. The script uploads a PHP web shell (shin_code.php) to /wp-content/uploads/isnapshots/ by abusing a multipart/form-data POST request. The shell, when accessed, fetches and executes additional PHP code from a remote GitHub repository, granting the attacker remote code execution. The script supports multi-threaded exploitation of multiple targets and logs successful uploads to shells.txt. The README provides usage instructions, prerequisites, and a disclaimer. No framework is used; the exploit is standalone and operational, with a hardcoded payload.
