CVE-2025-0624 is an out-of-bounds write vulnerability in GRUB2's grub_net_search_config_file() during network boot. While searching for a configuration file, GRUB2 copies a user-controlled environment-variable value with grub_strcpy() into an internally allocated buffer without accounting for the variable's length. An oversized value can therefore write beyond the buffer boundary.
