CVE-2025-1219 affects PHP versions 8.1 before 8.1.32, 8.2 before 8.2.28, 8.3 before 8.3.19, and 8.4 before 8.4.5. When the DOM or SimpleXML extension retrieves an HTTP resource that redirects, PHP libxml streams use the wrong Content-Type header to select the document charset. The redirected document can consequently be parsed incorrectly, potentially bypassing validations that depend on correct parsing.
